Alfred University played a large role in the upcoming Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games by creating a key part of the podium medals: the glass medallion. Alfred students and faculty will create more than 250 glass medallions for the largest collegiate winter multi-sport event happening in Lake Placid and the surrounding North Country region in January.
